I like the trikes that I've seen, and I think that's a great idea for resort or vacation areas where there is a lot of populous in a small area.  For my location it would not be very feasible. This area is very spread out and I haul everything in a trailer to get to my destinations. I have been looking a ice cream carts though, and have decided to go with just a small freezer for now.

We bought our trike late in the season and used it at a couple of events.  Right now, it is primarily an expansion to our existing location vs. pedaling up and down the streets.  This coming season will be the true test though.  (Purchased from Jason Brown at http://icecreambike.biz/ )

We just used the trike a couple of weeks ago for a catering gig...  it was super popular with the crowd!  I tried to upload a picture but it said the site's upload folder was full.  So here's a link to the picture: https://www.facebook.com/ODOGGYS/photos/pb.205452426231563.-2207520000.1432209404./702428173200650/?type=3&theater

I couldn't get a trike to pass code for serving  ice cream unless I only offered packaged like a ice cream truck. health department told me  I needed dish sinks, hand wash sink, hot water etc.. best price i could find was cottageconcessions.com little tiny cart. Light enough to push around and tow-able. nice idea to be inside out of weather. I did also look at icecreambike.biz and a few others.
