Hot Dog Vendors / Re: Best location ever and not a single pic

I have modified this a bit BP. I found out that a bit different is different enough. The all apple cider vinegar I noticed started hitting some people in the nose pretty hard. But I know we're on the right track.

Red wine vinegar alone adds so much depth to the flavor. And I started using 50% apple cider vinegar and white. Works fine! It just takes the thing down subtle-like. Take it down a notch. UN-BAM!

That's for coporate customers and golf courses. The rest of our community in Arizona is heavily Southwestern influenced so I can see taking it the other way. Hey, we think jalapenos can go in or on anything. We love it SPICY here. Pickled jalapenos are what most people like!

I'll play around with this a bit and maybe see if pickled ginger would go good. All we gotta do is ditch the mayo at one point and we're haute cuisine. Asian-fusion.

Know what goes good with pickled cabbage and ginger? Sesame. But to take it fusion we have to ditch the mayo.

But how do we ditch the real mayo without offending American values?

We shall see.....we shall see....

(still laughing about the last one. Now I have to be serious with the entire filmography of Cheech and Chong running in my head.)

This is one place where pizza has us beat because pretty much everything, meat, condiments and bread are BAKED TO 350 before we send them out.

You will answer this one. You will answer this one you hippy. We have ways of making you talk. We know you want the Ben & Jerry's. Tell us what we want to know and you get the Ben & Jerry's.

My friend OMG you have me laughing.

Owing to the fact that we serve so many school and youth oriented events I should walk away from this one as fast as I can drag the cart (kids, don't do drugs, we mean it) but the idea of a marijuana dealer recommending your services?

Dude. You could get rich! Everybody knows that "stoners get the munchies".

I'd try to lock this in with the dealer by kicking him back a %. Maybe explain to him that the ultimate way to preserve a drug empire is to diversify into legitimate business.

Heck man, a good drug dealer has enforcers to help you "compete". Which means they kneecap anybody trying to muscle in on your turf.

You might have scored the ULTIMATE HOT DOG BUSINESS MODEL!

(a more serious response will follow but thanks for the laugh)

Yeah but you guys know how it is. Hate to say no.

Forget what else I did this year, I'm gonna remember this one screw-up forever.

At least newbs get to see that us pros can fall down too. The truth is we're all just one vehicle breakdown or case of the flue away from sucking.

Well I felt I needed to add some expensive dishes to take me beyond the realm of being a basic hot dog vendor.

Not sure about your price point.  Never priced these types.  I would like what state you are in and can that city support those prices.  I would think the question would be yes.  Are these 4/1 in size.  They do sound good good.  Who are you buying this from if you don't mind me asking.  Duggs Doggs Good!! Good!!

A few weeks ago, a guy approached me. He is the owner of, which is a company that sells Booze Infused Bratwursts(Bourbon, Rum, and Gin)

I cook the bourbon bratwurst in Budweiser with onions, coleslaw, and pepperoncinis in the beer.

I prefer to take the brat out, load it with cheese and call it a Beer Cheese Bourbon Bratwurst.

My girlfriend likes to take the beer stewed toppings, load it on top of the beer-boiled bourbon brat, and top it with light mustard.

I price the dish at $9 for the brat, $10 for the combo. You can have a steamed bourbon brat for $7. $8 for the combo.

I feel this will take my delivery business beyond the realm of being some moron who is trying to deliver hot dogs most people can easily prepare for themselves.

I might be a bit slow but I think I heard you tell us that you are slamming. And as a trained statistician (poli-sci major) you just rigged a poll.

I didn't even know we could do polls on this board but you rigged it you dummy! Polls are supposed to be non-biased. Basically you offered us two options: 1. are you smarter than a lamp post or 2. go FOND.

And what did you mean "cleared for delivery"? Is there yet another odious license you have to have to do this? Like maybe a pilot license? "Cessna Chief 65 cleared for delivery on runway 2 wind south by southeast 8 knots visibility 3 miles operating in the clear and we got hot dogs"

Hey man I will say that I can see delivery working. Totally. And I see it as a stepping stone into mainstream catering. And I think it's a great idea. And you would be one of the first to do it.

Totally go for it bro.

Big high five bro.

I didn't know if there would be a license required, but I just called the Health Department up and made sure I had all of my bases covered. I definitely see this as a stepping stone to mainstream catering as well. I used to drive for Jimmy Johns and Pizza Hut both, and I know what it entails. I've had years of experience doing it. Jimmy Johns actually was doing a LOT of $200 or $300 dollar deliveries when I worked for them, and it was simply because they offered deliveries. I am anxious to get my first caller asking, "Can you deliver 60 hot dogs to the practice baseball field immediately?"

I've purchased a couple signs and used the sign for a paid ad on Facebook. I've had over 2500 view my paid local advertisement on Facebook. I created a giveaway on the post, where if you like the post, like the business page, and share the post then you are entered into a $10 free delivery giveaway.

In my town, word travels very fast. I actually went to go pick up some marijuana last night and my dealer told me that HIS dealers were raving about me and the prospect of delivery within my county. It's really cool to see where people are hearing of me, talking about me and spreading the word.
Don't See Your Forum? / LPG Water Heaters
« Last post by shakesgirl on November 09, 2017, 08:13:33 AM »

I'm looking to convert my electric water heater to an LPG Morco water heater and wanted to see if anyone has experience with this and if so which water pump you would recommend to go with it?

Thanks in advance :)

I have done the multi events before and for me it was just too much, doing two events in one day can be done in my operation but then it becomes not fun and too much work, I try to focus on one event per day which works better for me, having only one cart it only makes since but it can be done.  I also have friends that do 2, 3, 4 events in a day yes in one day, yes his operation is bigger than mine but he did two catering in one day, a sky lodge, and a college that night, his day started at 5 am and stopped at 3 am, sorry 22 hours is just too much for us old people.
